Can I combine Monk offers with discounts from other 3rd party apps?

Monk's discounts are built using Shopify Functions and are designed to automatically combine with Shopify discounts, requiring no additional setup when creating an offer through Monk. This ensures seamless operation alongside other discount codes generated within Shopify.

Because of this native integration, Monk offers can generally combine with discounts configured in Shopify, including those created by third-party apps, provided they also use Shopify’s native discount system.

However, for a third-party app (whether it is a manual code or automatic) to combine with Monk's discounts, you will have to manually set it to combine with 'product discounts' in the third-party app’s discount settings. This step is crucial to ensure that both Monk offers and external discounts can be concurrently applied to the same order.

Note: While discounts generally combine smoothly, compatibility isn’t guaranteed when a third-party app also actively modifies the cart or automatically adds gifts and products.
