# How to identify Monk orders in Shopify?

When running offers via Monk, you may encounter situations where an 'mr1' sign is visible along with Monk's discounted product on the cart or see an 'mrORDERID' in 'Additional details' in your Shopify order. The app adds these attributes as a way to run identification and analytics.

**What does mrORDERID indicate in Orders section in Shopify?**

In the Shopify Order section, the app includes an 'mrOrder ID' under the 'Additional details' section (top right) for backend tracking, attribution and analytics purposes. This ID is used to identify the customers who took actions like viewing the offer/widget, add to cart and order completed and link them back to the respective offers configured inside the app.

Please note that Monk orders cannot be filtered in Shopify Orders page. If you want to check orders for a specific Monk offer then you can do so from the in-app Order Browser page.

|| You can refer to this document for more information: [How to check the orders where Monk offer is applied? What is Order Browser?](https://help.monkcommerce.com/en/article/how-to-check-the-orders-where-monk-offer-is-applied-what-is-order-browser-1h70lva/)

Please note that the 'mrOrder ID' is a permanent identifier and removing it will result in in-app analytics not working. Your customers will not see this, and it is only for internal purposes.

We can also add a custom tag to orders where a Monk offer has been applied. The tag contains the name of the offer or the name of the app, making it easy to identify which Monk offer was used for a particular order and then filter in Shopify Orders page by this tag. For example, an order where a Monk offer was applied may have a tag such as `monk_offer_name`. You can then use this tag in Shopify to filter orders and view all orders where the corresponding Monk offer was applied.
